This American roadster comes equipped with a V8 that captured every car lover's heart in 1965. It combines the historic looks of the original with modern performance resulting in a stunning recreation that maintains legendary visuals while offering industry leading comfort and safety. Through continuous improvement and refinement the Backdraft Roadster has reached the top of its class for price versus performance and features.

Under the hood you'll find a robust Roush 427IR Stroker V-8 engine and a Tremec TKO 600 transmission. Each IR series engine is hot tested, then dyno tested to verify power. The 2 year / 24,000 mile warranty still remains.

Internally, the iron 4-bolt small-block engine features a roller camshaft, hydraulic lifters, H-beam rods, forged pistons and a steel crank. This serious powerplant is fitted with aluminum CNC-ported heads, a big Holley 4-barrel carburetor on an aluminum intake manifold, MSD ignition, polished serpentine components and coolant overflow tank, front-mounted radiator with electric fan, Quicktime bellhousing and Roush valve covers and air cleaner. A Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission feeds the power to the rear end and lends a real race car feel with the reliability and movement of modern design and engineering. The suspension encompasses a set of BMW 3-Series front coilovers and an adjustable independent rear setup.
